Compass Technology Group has been a leading provider of cutting-edge radio frequency (RF), microwave, and millimeter wave materials measurement equipment since 2011. The company provides the aerospace industry, automotive industry, agriculture and food industry, manufacturers, materials companies, and universities with state-of-the-art equipment and software to test materials in laboratories, the manufacturing plant floor, and out in the field.

The team also provides contract measurements for companies not ready to purchase equipment and can train organizations on our equipment either through classes or one-on-one training. Additionally, we can modify any of our standard products to meet your needs. For companies that have a problem to solve, we offer contract research and end-to-end solutions, including design, prototyping, manufacturing, testing, and training.

Aerospace

We are the microwave materials and RF materials measurement system solution for the aerospace industry. Compass Technology Group has been working with the aerospace industry since our inception in 2011. We work with Department of Defense contractors and public sector aerospace manufacturers to take the labor-intensive, manual, and subjective process of material and component testing and make it systematic and accurate.

Automotive

In the late 1990s the automotive industry began using radar sensors as a universal safety mechanism within automobiles. At Compass Technology Group, we work with automobile part manufacturers and suppliers to ensure their materials properly transmit radar signals.

Food

Moisture levels in the food production industry need to be at specific levels for different types of food. If the moisture levels are incorrect, cost of food increases due to weight, texture of the food changes, production is affected, and the shelf life could be reduced. At Compass Technology Group, we work with the agriculture and food industries applying microwave sensors, testing how much water a product has in it and what the state of that water is. We do this non-destructively with equipment that reads moisture levels through the shell or packaging instead of having to remove it before testing.

Manufacturing

Testing can be very expensive, and traditional laboratory equipment can be large and intrusive. Compass Technology Group has developed miniaturized, robot-mounted equipment that is lower cost, less labor-intensive and portable, so that the equipment can be moved around on your manufacturing plant floor. Our equipment can also help you get a higher quality product out the door at a more cost-efficient rate.

Wireless Communication

Antennas are ubiquitous — embedded in products and then covered by protective materials. To ensure that wireless signals are transmitted, testing is needed at all stages from research and development to manufacturing and quality assurance. At Compass Technology Group, we develop equipment and provide the capabilities to test at all frequencies used in wireless communication either in laboratories, on the manufacturing plant floor, or out in the field.
