Testing is required within the laboratory or at the manufacturing facility when the materials for the bumpers are being selected and produced. Our team develops and uses equipment to help companies determine if the materials chosen will provide optimal transmission of the radar signals, such as collision avoidance detection at frequencies near 77 GHz.
Coating and Automotive Paint Manufacturers
We work with coating companies and automotive paint manufacturers to verify that the paint chosen will not block the radar signal on car bumpers.
Repair
Like airplane mechanics, we can develop equipment for car repair shops and dealers to determine if the damage from an accident has created an issue with the radar signal coming through the bumper.
